About Us

My photo
James1:27 for 2
We are the Upchurch family...just an everyday, ordinary fam of six living out an everyday, ordinary life story. In and of ourselves nothing too special to offer but have realized when we allow God to be the one and only author of our life story, He goes way out of that "everyday, ordinary box" we once felt so comfortable in! Bruce and Tina (aka Dad and Mom) have been married for almost 20 yrs. and have been awesomely blessed with 4 kids the old fashion way and are super excited about adding 2 amazing sibs from Ethiopia! God has certainly transformed our vision of how we saw our lives playing out. Actually, He's pretty much turned our lives upside down and now our prayer is "never turn us right side up again!" God has opened our eyes to so many things that in our everyday, ordinary vision we would have never seen...praise God that He is the corrector of vision (the best prescription ever)! And so we would love to share this story God is writing in our lives, not to bring any attention to this everyday, ordinary family but to make the AUTHOR of our life story FAMOUS! Blessings to All from an everyday, ordinary family of six and then there were eight...God here's the pen!
